Mysoora Mallige is woven from the lyrical poems of K. S. Narasimha Swamy, one of the modern Kannada poets inspired to sing by the love of his land.

Mysoora Mallige (meaning:Jasmine of Mysuru) (Kannada: ಮೈಸೂರ ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಗೆ) - A 1992 Indian Kannada feature film, the second production from “Yajaman Enterprises”. Co-written & directed by T.S.Nagabharana. The speciality of the story was based on the collection of poems in the same name penned by K.S.Narasimha Swamy a renowned kannada poet. The cast had Girish Karnad, Sudharani, Anand, SundarRaj, H.G.Dattatreya and others. This unique attempt was appreciated by one and all.
